You are a Indian software engineer if...

  1. you crib about being underpaid even when your salary is one of the highest in the market.
  2. you know what is happenning in the streets of US but do not know what has happenned in your own street.
  3. you can talk in any topic ranging from microeconomics to microbiology without knowing even the ABC of the topic.
  4. your own neighbours know nothing about your very existence.
  5. you ask for a menu card in a roadside coffee shop.
  6. the weight of your ass skyrockets in the weekends and you find it hard to drag your ass out of your bed.
  7. you mention c,c++ and java along with English,Tamil in the lnguages known section.

he he he sorry could not write about anything interesting the new tamil speaking Predater 2 in Sun TV is holding me back from doing anything useful... and since this being a weekend and me being a software engineer i already lost all my energy in dragging my Ass out of my couch... the energy from the two dosas and one vada (yes I am in Diet...) i had in the morning seems to be very less for my Ass-dragging work...

Will try to write something worth in my next post...

To start with....

mm wat to write... let me think... had it been an exam hall my creative brain's spontanity would have flooded this page in a few minutes... But i ain't in a exam hall... and me no student either... mm let me think again... talking about exams i always found exams very exciting... not for the reason that it gives me a chance to bore the shit out of anyone who would be going thru wat i write... but for the enjoyment that comes once the exam days some how come to an end... We fondly celebrated the last day of our exams as 'pondy' day... for the uninitiated pondy is gujju movies... for the uneducated gujju is classified movies... Thanks to the mech junta in our batch... they had one exam less than the cursed beings of other branches and for them the celebration would always begin a day early... and those buggers used to bring best of the pondies available to celebrate the victory (who cares to wait for the result...)... Best movies deserve good viewership... so the other branch students would always join the celebration a day ahead of their due date.... talking of pondy i am reminded of an interesting incident.... one of my friends who some how kept himself away from the pondy celebrations for the first one year, joined the first celebration (first cycle test) of the second year.... The celebartion started with a thriller film... i think it was "What lies beneath"... but junta was more interested in "What lies ahead".... so the crowd started their booos and hooos for each boring scene and some how forced the "organizers" to start the real celebration (at around 12:00)... the hall was jam packed for the next 2 hours and by 2:00 AM the junta started to leave for an even more important JOB... I gave up after the 3rd movie (...yes in a row!!!) and left for the day (or the night?!) The next morning i went to my friend and asked him how was his first day experience and at what time he left the TV room... and the reply that he gave makes me laugh even today... he said that he did not like the movies from the very brginning but was waiting till 7 am in the morning waiting to see if the "Organizers" would play any "good" movie... Now thats wat i call CONFIDENCE...

he he he hope this makes no sense at all to you... but this is my blog and i can scribble anything... Blogging .... I am lovin it... it sure is better than !@%gging....
